About Inferbrief
This page describes how we work. It is not legal or financial advice.
Mission
Inferbrief publishes concise decision briefs on model changes, AI tool pricing, API limits, and practical migration risk. The site is for readers who need to decide what to test, buy, ignore, or watch next without browsing vendor changelogs every day.
We do not try to beat large publications on breaking-news speed. We focus on source-linked, searchable explanations that stay useful after the first news cycle.
Editorial standards
- Prefer primary sources: vendor announcements, official pricing and docs, model cards.
- Label uncertainty. When a capability is regional, preview-only, or rumored, we say so.
- Dates matter: every brief should make it obvious when facts were last verified ("as of …").
- Pricing and limits should include judgment, not just copied plan tables: who is affected, what to check before switching, and where the official source lives.
How we verify
Each decision brief should make the verification path visible. For model and pricing coverage, that usually means linking to official pricing pages, API docs, help-center articles, release notes, model docs, or changelogs. When a fact is likely to move, we add a last-checked date and avoid pretending the number is permanent.
We use third-party commentary for context when useful, but we do not treat it as the final source for prices, availability, deprecations, or account-plan rules.
Coverage boundaries
- We cover AI model changes, tool pricing, API limits, and decision guides.
- We do not publish rumors as facts.
- We do not scrape paid content or claim private access to vendor roadmaps.
- We may skip minor launches if they do not change a reader's decision.
Independence and disclosures
Inferbrief is an editorial project. If ads, sponsorships, or affiliate links are added later, they should be labeled clearly and should not decide the conclusion of a comparison. Pricing summaries are informational; readers should confirm on the vendor's official page before buying or migrating.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, please email us (below) with the article URL and a link to the canonical vendor page. We aim to correct material mistakes and note substantive updates at the top of the piece when helpful.
Good correction notes include the article URL, the exact sentence that is wrong, the source link, and the date you checked it.
